The Srixon GiE is a game-improvement iron from Srixon's Japan-only range, first released in 2009 and updated in 2011. A thin, high-strength maraging steel face gives a lively strike and a larger sweet spot than a traditional players iron. In the 2011 model, tungsten weights in the heel and toe lower the centre of gravity and add stability on off-centre hits. Srixon also shaped the head to look sharper at address than a typical game-improvement iron, which suits improving golfers who want easy launch without a bulky look.
