Return and Refund Policy
At The Club Plug, we are committed to ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. Please review our return policy below.
When am I Eligible for a Return?
Scenario 1: The item is in some way different to what was described on our website.
Scenario 2: Within 30 days your item is or has become defective and you have purchased our Club Plug Insurance. Note - This insurance strictly covers defective clubs only. If a club has been obviously misused the insurance will be void. Determining whether it is a misuse or a defect will be at The Club Plug’s discretion.
I am eligible for a return:
Scenario 1: If the item is different to what was described on our website then you must contact us within 48 hours after receiving the item. Any late claims will not be accepted.
Scenario 2: If you have a defective item that satisfies the above criteria, contact us.
In either scenario the following is also required:
- The original receipt or proof of purchase must be presented.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Provide photos to support the return
When you are ineligible:
- Change of mind - Please ensure before purchasing a club that the item is what you are looking for.
- Obvious misuse of club (even with club plug insurance)
- Defective club but have not purchased club plug insurance
- Late submission of return after 48 hour period for damaged club or after 30 day period for a defective club
- Headcovers are sold as-is and are non-returnable unless it was purchased for a club being returned.
- Golf Clubs purchased through our Club Finder are non-returnable.
Return Process:
If you wish to return an item, please contact us at sales@theclubplug.co.nz to initiate the process.
- The original receipt or proof of purchase must be provided with a detailed description of the issue and alongside photos.
- Once we receive this we will make a decision as to whether you are eligible for a return and will notify you of the approval or rejection of this
- If approved, you will receive a return slip to return the clubs.
- Upon receiving the returned clubs, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days.
Exchanges:
- We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please request a return and place a new order.
Shipping:
- Customers are responsible for shipping costs when returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
